Today I spent the afternoon in London and on my way back I stopped off at West Elm. They have some really great special offers and¬†sales on at the moment. While there I bought few decorative accessories for my almost-finished-bathroom-project, I’m going to reveal it hopefully next week so stay tuned!
I also noticed that they have some new products too. It’s no secret that West Elm is my favourite shop so I was like a kid in the sweet shop in there. Every time I go there I seem to loose tract of time and as¬†a result I¬†was “slightly” late for the school run (like 10 minutes ..but you know teachers they really don’t like “late parents”!).
I’m feeling tired from all of the running and speeding through the tube and train like Schumacher, so I keep this post short-ish/more inspirational for product ideas.
I came up with these 10 essentials for a modern eclectic living room which instantly update and transform your space. If your living room needs a quick facelift and colour injection then these are perfect for you. Since I like to invest in timeless pieces I also think these below are great smart buys!
I like when my backdrop is neutral and introduce colour through furniture and accessories. I quickly put this moodboard idea together so you can better visualise the products in situ. And guess what? It involves a colour scheme of 6 – mixing cool and warm tones and shades. The walls I’ve chosen to paint in Fired Earth Aunty Maud which is very pale milky colour with a slight greige undertone. It’s warmer than brilliant white if that makes sense.
That’s all from me for now! But before I go, here’s a quick decorating tip.
Tweet it if you like it!  Any thoughts? Are you brave with colours as accents or do you prefer to have them on walls? Let me know!
