I’ve been very busy today sourcing products for my clients and thought to share one of them with you.
The inspiration came from this image I found on Houzz. I always recommend Houzz to be the first site for inspirational interiors.
Even though it’s U.S. based website many well-known U.K. interior designers showcase their work there, including moi. Check it out here. When I was working in London many clients already came to us with images they found on the site and I think the popularity will be growing even more over the next few years.
Anyway. The image I want to show you is this one
I’ve been looking for a wall art like this and after a long search I found a company, Photowall, ¬†that supplies large photo murals. For ¬£79 you can get 200 x 150cm large wallpaper mural. They have 100s and 100s of designs and images at various sizes. Obviously the bigger size, the more expensive. But I think a picture within 2 metres is a perfect size to be placed above a 3 seater sofa.
My brief is to work with very neutral, earthy tones and the art should have an element of nature. I have found these options..
You can have a look at the Photowall website to see their full photo library.
Which one would you choose? I’m leaning towards Flamingos or the black & white rose closeup.
Maybe you could help and let me know. To give you an idea of the rest of the room, this is the moodboard I’ve done before the meeting but since then the art choice has changed to the similar one like above.
