Lighting as art

Last week was manic. It started in Italy and then we flew to Berlin for the rest of the half term school break. I couldn’t leave the city¬†without popping into the Bocci showroom. Bocci is a contemporary lighting company in Canada with showrooms in Vancouver and¬†Berlin. I’m a big fan of the brand¬†and as you can see from the images below you can guess why. Their products are AMAZING!!

The showroom is located within a historic courthouse built in 1896. Once you walk in you see its architecture which creates a beautiful backdrop for the lighting products. This is where history meets contemporary.

The showroom is spread across 3 floors with several rooms and adjacent corridors. The big entrance staircase showcases its masterpiece, hung from the top to the bottom, which is reflected in a large mirror at the centre of the space.

Really stunning showroom. One of the best I’ve ever seen!! Bocci 79 can be found on¬†Kantstrasse 79, 10627 Berlin.
