Recently I have been working with lots of silver and grey. From tiles and fabrics to wallpapers and even marble. I will write about my upcoming kitchen upgrade project next week but in the meantime I found these beauties, all in silver, perfect for a small bedroom makeover.
1/ PT Cora Chalk silver wallpaper, £45.00 per roll (available from www.karolinabarnes.co.uk)
2/ Round silver and black mirror from designessentials, £75
3/ Silver bowl from Belle La Vie, £19.99
4/ Silver table lamp from Argos, £24.99
5/ Silver tray from homeinspired, £6.50
6/ Silver and grey cushion from Tesco
7/ Silver rug from expressrugs, starts on £59.99
So what do you think? Do you like any accessories? I think the silver tray is such a bargain and the wallpaper? It looks so much better on a real sample. Let me know if you would like one to be posted to you. I’ve pulled some more ideas on how to use silver accents in your home. Any favourites?
I love the silver glass mosaic as a splashback. So elegant, chic and very feminine. While working in London, I designed a seller with it, as a floor covering and it was so bling bling! But with the right furniture and keeping the balance right it worked really well. And it wasn’t overpowering at all. Here is one more great idea using silver mosaic…
I LOVE this idea. The silver / mirror mosaic looks so great next to the dark wood banister and treads. Be careful though and keep the balance right.
I was so immersed into silver while researching for this post that I just had to do my own silver bedroom. I’ve mixed it up a bit with some blue and ochre accents for colour injection and used the silver wallpaper only on the feature wall while keeping the rest neutral.
Back soon with my fashion post. Travelling today so expect my post little bit later. Do you have silver accents in your home? Let me know.
