Recently, we have delivered a bespoke banquette for one of my clients’ dining area. Have a look at the proposal and the result.
The banquette was going to go against a feature wall covered in VillaNova
wallpaper, so we matched it with the grey faux leather fabric (I also proposed white faux leather as a second option). My client preferred the faux leather option as opposed to real leather due to the practicality and durability of the material. The frame was constructed from solid wood and the legs were stained in dark brown to match wenge wood flooring and sideboards.
So why the need for a banquette?
A banquette is a very good option for smaller spaces where dining chairs wouldn’t accommodate the desired number of seats. Depending on the size of the banquette you can gain at least 2 extra seats. Have a look at some more examples..
I loved working on this small project. The VillaNova wallpaper will create a stunning feature behind the banquette. This Indian inspired wallpaper collection is colourful, feminine, stylish with metallic details. Here are other colour combinations..
My personal favourite..
