I’m part of Decology

Decology is an online bespoke and accessible design platform connecting interior designers with you, the client who is willing to put some work into your decorating project or makeover yourself while getting guidance from a professional designer.

Honestly, I was waiting for something like this for a few years. Sometimes I have to reject projects because of their location or time-commitment, which is very hard to do. But family has to come first so that’s why, for now, I can only offer my e-design services. Decology works in a very similar way. It is basically an online service where you submit your ideas, vision and wishes for your space. Within few days you receive concept board/moodboards from the Decology designers. You pick the one you feel you want to work with and start collaborating on your room. The designer will provide visuals, floor plans and shopping lists. Once everything is finalised you can place and track all orders under one roof.

I love this kind of service!! Obviously, across the pond it is very popular to get design help through this kind of service. I think that over here, it may take some time but I’m a great believer and supporter of latest technologies in design. I think this is what will transform the interior design landscape in future.

It is still very new but today I have submitted my first moodboard for a review. It’s pretty basic ..so it hasn’t got the situ visuals, floor plans or the shopping list. This is just an idea for an office space I was playing with this morning based around the client’s art and working around the existing furniture.

I will be posting more of the process and details about the work I will be doing as a Decology designer, so you can see “the behind the scenes” and how it all comes together. In the meantime, if you are planning to redecorate in near future and you can manage the job yourself but need some professional guidance, check out Decology.
