Kelly Hoppen bathware collection

kelly hoppen bathroom collection

Last month Kelly Hoppen launched her collection with Apaiser, an Australian luxury bathware designer and manufacturer of high end hand finished stone bath tubs. Now, I know that stone bathtubs are not within everyone’s possibilities, not just in terms of the budget but also the practical element of having a stone bath. But I think if you are just starting out your bathroom renovation and have a clean slate this could be an option for you to consider.

Having a stone bathtub is the ultimate luxury in design. Trust me. I’ve designed bathrooms with stone bathtubs in the past and the material and its benefits are unbeatable. Crushed marble particles in high content, which these baths have, are said to enhance your therapeutic bathing experience and sooth your stress levels! Marble is one of the oldest building materials and one of the benefits is that it’s able to retain and even out heat. This means that the water in this bathtub is more even and the temperature doesn’t drop as quickly as compared to other bathtub materials.

Apaiser launched 3 designs by Kelly Hoppen. These designs are very typical Kelly Hoppen style. The movement and shapes are inspired by her love for East meets West and all products are available in her signature colour palette – taupe, charcoal, linen and white.

Harmony in situ..The collection also includes matching sinks and vanity.

If you like contemporary bathroom design and want something that will stand the test of time, this collection is perfect for you. The shape and the actual design is clean, elegant and timeless which won’t go out of fashion. You know, this is not about the current trend, it’s a style and particular lifestyle you’ll be buying as well. It’s the ultimate luxury!

So what do you think? If you had the means and the space, would you buy one of these babies? Personally, origami is my fave! By the way, the collection is available through designers, so if you want more info, please let me know.
