Hotel Interiors: The Mark Hotel

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you probably noticed this image (above) from yesterday. I’m in Prague for a few days spending some time with my family and as I was walking through the city centre yesterday afternoon I stumbled upon The Mark Hotel. It looked very modern from the outside so I walked in. Clean lines, white walls, very modern, impressive art.

The first thing you see is this long corridor displaying a gallery of art and bronze statues. The art was just popping out in the interior. Bright fuchsia pink, sharp blue, green, yellow and purple.

The bronze statues were just so beautiful. I’m no statue collector but I could easily pick one of these and take it home. Sorry about the pics quality.

Then the corridor opens into a courtyard garden with a small afternoon tea style cafe. And even more statues are scattered here and there. Can you spot them?

Obviously I didn’t see any guest rooms but I found these images on their website. Still keeping with the interior decor downstairs the guest rooms and suites are very tastefully designed with neutral walls, bold art and fabrics. Take a look…

All in very neutral palette but velvet covered sofas, glam statement crystal chandeliers and the art elevate the whole scheme to a luxurious level.

One more image…the bathroom!
