I love designing with patterns. Here in the U.K. it’s so grey, cold and dark especially in winter months and bold colours are just a great way to uplift your home and are good for your mood too. In this post I want to give shout out to Parris Wakefield Additions founded by 2 designers Sarah Parris and Howard Wakefield.
I first met them at the May Design Series exhibition in London back in May and really liked their fabrics. Their love of colours and bold patterns is highly reflected in their work. Take a look..
Their collection of fabrics, lampshades, cushions, rugs and wall art are characterised by graphic and geometric patterns in bright and bold colours. Some designs remind me a bit of the 70s patterned fashion style. Do you see that? I LOVE the Zig Zag fabric and their animal wall art. The colours are just stunning. Take a look at these cushions.
You can really inject some personality into your home with them. Few cushions on your sofa, that’s all you need. The fabrics are available in cotton, linen and velvet depending on the pattern style. I have now ordered their sample book so if you like to see, touch and feel the materials please contact me for details. All of their products are designed and printed in the U.K. which is great for the environment and also for quality control. I must say that the quality is absolutely excellent.
