Over a year ago I created a column on the Inside KB Studio blog called “Ask the designer” where I answer my client’s questions and questions which I receive via email. I must say that it is my favourite part of the blog. But I don’t limit my free advice, opinions and my knowledge only to my site. I’m also an active member on Houzz where I do the similar thing over there. And, as result last week I received an email from Houzz saying that I have been selected their community influencer. Whoop! Whoop!!
I was really chuffed to be recognised as someone who contributes with “valuable and knowledgable posts and advice” by this great community. It’s so hard to get my clients, who I mostly haven’t met via Houzz, to actually give me a review there. I know many designers struggle with that as well. I think the biggest problem is that you have to be a member to give reviews and generally navigate through the platform. But being at least acknowledged is a great news, and a step in the right direction.
If you don’t want to wait for my blog posts and you want more detailed and personalised advice from me, hop on Houzz into their Stories & Advice section. I’m usually there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can also send me a direct message while there.
